the cubs continued their winning run in the conference, we had 7 players for the game, and having won the toss decided to bat. The opening pair of James and Hugo O did well against some fast Adamstown bowling, and scored a few boundaries, and only lost 2 wickets and scored 30runs. The 2nd pair of Zac and Patrick batted well, and despite Zac missing a rolling ball and was bowled, Patrick being caught behind and out the last ball of the pair to their best bowler, they scored close to 40 runs in their 4 overs, with Zac getting 28 of them, a change to the regular batting order, Stephen and Hugo D batted 3rd pair and they scored close 50 runs for no wickets, and finally Devam batted with James as last pair, and saw the score up to 150 for the loss of only 1 wicket (a run out on trying to run to the wicket keeper) you know who you are.... We finished up on 160-6 in our 20 overs.

When Adamstown came to bat, we had a new opening bowler Hugo O who bowled 3 overs and took a wicket, Devam took a wicket with his 1st Ball, Hugo D and Patrick also took a wicket - after I told them to bowl at the stumps, maybe I should say this every ball, Stephen and Zac bowled with pace and got a wicket, James bowled some good spin and had a few edges and also managed to get a wicket. 6 bowlers bowled 3 overs and 1 bowled 2 overs, so every one was involved, and despite only having 7 fielders we got 4 run-outs, meaning that Adamstown finished on 118-11 wickets, and we won by over 50 runs.

Well done everyone, and it was a great game played on a lovely evening, but still more work to do on defending balls on the stumps, bowling to reduce wides/no balls, but ground fielding was excellent and no over throws.
